The Matchbox Action Drivers Volcano Escape playset includes lights and sounds, simulating a volcanic eruption with a lava rock 'explosion'. Enhancing the realism and expanding the storytelling possibilities, the car- and kid-activated features make this set an exciting adventure. The Matchbox Action Drivers Volcano Escape challenges kid heroes to rescue a team of researchers trapped near an active volcano. A kid-activated elevator carries cars to the volcano's peak where they will encounter various obstacles as they drive to safety. The set comes with one Matchbox vehicle, and additional cars are available for purchase separately.

By pressing a lever, kids can activate the lights and sounds of the volcanic eruption, building up to a thrilling lava rock 'explosion'. Driving down the volcano triggers the researcher's zipline escape, while dangerous wildlife and rocky terrain create even more obstacles along the exit route.
